This sensor controls provides full automation to your awning. It will extend the blind when the sun levels reach your desired threshold and will retract it if the sun goes in or the wind picks up. This item requires hard wiring to both the awning and a power supply.
A solar powered sun sensor for controlling your Somfy powered awning, providing automatic sun protection. This item requires no additional wiring as it communicates with the awning via radio, meaning it can be installed in the most ideal place possible. For example, we have previously installed one on a chimney stack of a bungalow for maximum exposure to the sun. This can be used in conjunction with a separate wind sensor if so desired.
This sensor mounts wirelessly to the front of the awning and will safely retract the blind it if it detects excessive movement caused by windy conditions. This unit requires a battery. This can be used in conjunction with a separate sun sensor if so desired.
