Perfect Fit Pleated Roof Blinds

Perfect Fit Pleated Roof Blinds

The revolutionary Perfect Fit blind system extends to cope with roof areas of almost any size, shape and complexity. They work on a similar principle albeit slightly different design to Perfect Fit side blinds. A pleated or cellular blind is pre-built into a self contained frame which snap-fits to the window using brackets held in place by the window bead. No holes are drilled and no screws used, thereby doing no damage to the UPVC. Everything is self contained within the frame of the blind so there are none of the unsightly brackets or cord anchors you would get with a conventional roof blind. Standard operation is manual, either with a detachable telescopic wand or by hand if reachable. Motorisation with remote control is an option. Not all companies will offer Perfect Fit roof blinds as not all are comfortable with the measuring and fitting of them, but at Othello Blinds we favour them over any other roof product. This is easily the neatest and best  solution on the market. Available in the same range of fabrics as our pleated and cellular Perfect Fit blinds.

Standard Pleated Blinds

Standard Pleated Blinds

Standard pleated blinds are a much more economical option than Perfect Fit blinds, but install like a conventional blind whereby holes are drilled and brackets are screwed into the frame of the conservatory or roof light. They operate in exactly the same way – either by telescopic wand, hand or electric and are available in the same choice of fabrics.

Roof Roller Blinds

Roof Roller Blinds

Roof roller blinds are less common these days having been replaced by newer roof systems such as Perfect Fit. They are however still available and offer an alternative look and lower cost to the more mainstream pleated roof blinds. Predominantly used in conservatories, they can be tailored and shaped to the style of your roof. Operated via a cord and cleat system or motorised control, an optional pelmet can be installed to conceal the workings of the blind and the fabric when retracted. All of our roof roller blind fabrics have a solor protective, energy efficient backing – meaning they provide both heat reduction in the summer and help to reduce heat loss in winter. Pinoleum Roof Blinds

Pinoleum Roof Blinds

The original Victorian shading material for conservatories, orangeries and sun rooms. The woven nature of the Pinoleum provides good shading while providing a diffused light to add a subtle ambiance to the room. The traditional wood finish makes them perfect for timber conservatories, although they look good in uPVC to! There is a choice of weave patterns and standard colour finishes, but they can also be painted to a bespoke colour to match the leading paint manufacturers ranges. Pinoleum blinds retract in folds like a Roman blind.

External Conservatory Blinds

External Conservatory Blinds

The ultimate in conservatory blind shading solutions, these awnings fit to the exterior of your conservatory, physically blocking the suns direct heat and glare from the glass. Our tensioned external conservatory awnings work on a simple principle; fabric is wound round a rigid galvanised steel fabric barrel contained within the cassette headbox and connected to the lead rail, which runs on lateral guides to each side guaranteeing a smooth and square functioning. Hi-tech dyeema cables concealed within the lateral guides attach to the lead rail and are tensioned via integral heavy duty double coiled springs. When the motor, built within the fabric barrel is operated and the blind extends / retracts. This tensioning system keeps the fabric taut at every position.
